WHY DO WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ON 25 DECEMBER?
if you think that Jesus was born on the 25 Dec we
celebrate that date but no, Jesus had not to be born in December actually
bible also doesn't say when which date or day Jesus was born. but some hints or
clues say that Jesus was born in the spring.
not know that exactly.
but why do we celebrate 25 December so the fact that the
early Christian society and certainly people have proof and evidence that the
back of centuries we celebrate Christmas on 25 December and they also said that
Jesus was not born in 1 BCE/BBC said that
Jesus was born between 2BCA/BC and 7BCA/BC approx 4BCA/BC? according to
the old records, the first Christmas celebration was on 25 December 336 AD
during the time of the roman emperor it was the first Christian Roman emperor
that celebrates Jesus' birthday on this date. but they have not declared an
official holiday for the roman state festival at the time.
around 550 ad during the time that the roman emperor
announced a 25 December is Christmas and an official holiday. 25 December is
not a random pick because the roman emperor and pope both agreed to celebrate
Jesus' birthday on 25 December. because it date match the pagan festivals that
date back the centuries. (the winter solstice occurs dec21 or 22 depending
on the year). that why the whole world celebrate christmas in 25 december.
HOW IS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATED?
Just hearing about Christmas my mind thinks of happiness
and fun, enjoyment and I am thinking about how to have fun and how to enjoy
these days. so how to start your favorite day normally people have their own
traditional trend for celebrating Christmas. like the whole world has many
different traditional and different ways to celebrate Christmas because so many
cultures are there and it has own traditional way to celebrate some family make
dinner with friend relative and some family make a big Christmas eve meal it
a popular tradition to celebrate in the meal there known as the feast of the
seven fishes.
some families go to church and celebrate Jesus's birthday
and pray for their own family and also prepared a gift for their own family and
friends and make a delicious meal, candy, sweets, and Christmas special cookies
for their own family. they spend the day with their own family. Decorating the home make a Christmas tree and
decorating the with lighting, Hinkley, balloon, candles, etc make you full
enjoyment these days. what are you doing for this day make your own day with
blessing.
